Technical Support Representative & E-Commerce Coordinator for Community TechKnowledge

We are looking for a creative problem solver with a technology background to provide enthusiastic customer support for a web-based application and internal support for a billing application.

This position requires great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task fluidly. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Entry-level programming and database administration skills are ideal. Support experience with e-commerce/shopping cart technologies is a plus. A four-year degree is preferred, although experience is applicable in lieu of a degree. Familiarity with the nonprofit community is beneficial but not required.

· Programming Languages: PHP, JavaScript, Ajax

Community TechKnowledge has a position open in our downtown Austin office.

Community TechKnowledge (CTK) is a small but growing company located in beautiful downtown Austin. We provide software solutions for Nonprofit Organizations, which allow them to track and report on the services they are providing and enable them to help even more people. Currently we are looking for a Multimedia designer.

The multimedia designer will develop and design all of CTK’s marketing media. He or she will also develop materials for CTK websites and pages, interactive media (landing pages, micro sites, banners, buttons, flash ads etc), launch email campaigns, integrate marketing materials in social media, and create other multimedia projects (including product demonstrations, instructional videos).

The CTK multimedia designer will be an expert with specialized computer software programs to create layouts and design elements for print and web, and to animate graphics or utilize screencasting software to execute product demonstrations.

Requires knowledge of:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Final Cut Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Camtasia Studio (or any other screencasting software for instructional videos)
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Flash (Some Knowledge of ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0 is encouraged)
• Adobe Dreamweaver
• Basic knowledge of XHTML & CSS

It is also strongly encouraged that the designer be tech savvy/well-versed in social media efforts to integrate CTK graphics and videos. College degree in a related field a plus. The specialist will need to be able to strategize and utilize best practices for social media that meet business goals and also engage a user community. SEO, google analytics, web trends, keywords and page ranking knowledge is strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities:

-Be able to build a professional social media presence
-Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogger, YouTube, and other social media tools.
-Good writing, editing, and proofreading skills
-Understand SEO, keep up with latest research and trends of social media and marketing
